Thank you for sharing all of your fantastic personal Pandora memories and moments with us through our first ever Charm Story contest. Selecting the two winning entries was not an easy task and involved more than a few tissues!

Our First Place Winning story was submitted by Nancy

"Being in the present and enjoying the moment are values that I strive for in my daily life. However, with a full-time job, two young children, aging parents, bills to pay, etc...it is easy to forget what is most important. When I'm stressed, little things seem to take on too much significance and it's easy to lose perspective and a sense of my priorities. The Buddha charm serves as a sweet reminder to slow down and be in the moment. I love the fact that the charm sits on my wrist amongst the other charms, being there it cues me to really cherish the moments with my children - to be fully present when they are telling me a story about their day when I am tempted to look at my computer screen or am "too busy". The charm reminds me to not wish any of the times away - whatever is happening. It's so easy to feel rushed and harried with a never-ending to-do list in hand. The Buddha charm has helped me to to be here NOW, to be present, ultimately a better mother. What a gift. Thank you!"

Our Second Place Winning story was submitted by Kaushala

"My husband and I wanted to experience the joys of raising both a boy and a girl. We were blessed with two wonderful boys whom we love very much, but never a daughter. Our prayers were answered 26 years later with the arrival of our first granddaughter. She is our miracle baby, and with her birth our family reunited and has become very close. As I held her in my arms for the first time I was overwhelmed with emotion. I wanted to cherish this unforgettable moment forever, and to celebrate this joyous occasion I was looking to purchase something special that could one day be passed on to my granddaughter. I wandered aimlessly through jewelry stores hoping something would catch my eye. The bead “Woven Together” jumped out at me. I knew immediately that this bead represented how our lives will always be intertwined. This bead will never leave my bracelet. Since then we have also given bracelets to loved ones, and we all get together to add to the bracelets to commemorate special moments in our lives."
